Delhi University Admission Process for UG (Merit-based) Courses:

Students are always worried about the procedure after the admission form. So to make the admission process easier for the candidates, listed below is the step-by-step process of admission in merit-based courses after the declaration of cut-offs:

Step 1: Students will be required to log in to their portal and select the course and college to generate the application form for admission.

Step 2: Once the aspirants have the application form, they have to visit the college for admissions with the following documents:

• Class 10th & Class 12th Marksheet

• Class 10th Board Examination Certificate

• Class 12th Provisional Certificate

• The latest character certificate authorities by the Principal of the school last attended.

• If applicable, SC/ST/OBC/PwD certificates in the name of the applicant only.

• Transfer certificates from school/board along with the migration certificate

• Two Passport Size Self Attested Photographs

As of now, due to the outbreak of coronavirus Delhi university is planning to make the document verification process online but no official notification is declared by DU till now. The final process is yet to announced by Delhi University.

Step 3: Once the application is approved by the Principal, the students can pay the fees online. After the successful payment of the fees, the admission process to that particular college is complete.

Step 4: However, if a student wants to take admission in another course or college in any of the subsequent cut-offs, they will be expected to follow the following steps:

• Aspirants will be needed to cancel their admission in their previous college online and pay the withdrawal fee.

• After canceling print the receipt of the withdrawal fee.

• To take admission to another course or college students will have to pay the balance fee of the new college in which they are taking admission.
However, if any student has paid an additional amount the same will be refunded after a few times to the same bank account from which the candidate has paid the fees.

DU Admission Process for UG & PG (Entrance based) Courses:

Step 1: The merit list for Delhi University would be released in online mode after the declaration of the result.

Step 2: There are a limited number of seats in every college. So, the cut-off list depends upon the number of students with a maximum percentage. Seats in the admission list will be allotted as per the rank and availability of seats in respective colleges.

Step 3: Candidates whose percentage lies in the cut off list and are eligible to take admission in that particular college with have to take a print out of the admission form.

Step 4: Once they have taken the print out of the admission form, they have to go to the respective college for the further verification process.

Step 5: Once all the documents are verified and the verification process ends, the admission will be approved.

Step 6: The fees would be paid online. Once the admission process is approved, the student has to pay the fees online. Those students who miss or could not be able to go to the college for further verification process would not be called out for further admission rounds.
