The left-affiliated All India Students’ Association (AISA) alleged that the University Grants Commission  National Eligibility Test or UGC NET Hindi exam paper leaked. Consequently, AISA members and students demand the rapid repeal of the NTA’s tender on exams.

Further, the delegation of students also addressed the additional secretary of UGC and submitted a memorandum. According to the memorandum, the association said, “We want to emphasize the demand for an independent inquiry for paper leaks in general. This has evolved ‘commonplace in the BJP government’.The leaked UGC NET Hindi exam paper was held on 26 December 2021.”

Additionally, the AISA states, “The Jind police have arrested a few people on whose phones the exam paper was found.”

THE AGENCY SHOULD CONDUCT AN EXAM ONCE AGAIN, SAYS AISA

In addition to the demand for an inquiry on the leaked paper, AISA and SFI demand NTA to conduct the exam once again. As per the memorandum, “The UGC NET exam that is held by NTA must be held by UGC one more time. Along with full answerability to the stakeholders. The Hindi examination must be conducted shortly.”

On the other hand, AISA alleges the Uttar Pradesh government. The government is distributing mobile phones and tablets to students to gather data. Association stated that the government builds a structure of surveillance by allocating phones and tablets. Configuring devices without owners’ permission is an entire Breach of Privacy’, AISA added.
