The Fault in Our Stars actor, Ansel Elgort, has been accused by a woman, Gabby, of sexual assault in the year 2014. The girl was just 17 years old then.
Allegedly, the woman tweeted a long note on how the actor sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager. The actor is 26 years old right now. The post has been deleted since then.
She alleged that she did not want to do it and the only words which came out of his mouth were ‘we need to break you in’.
Ansel is preparing for his next movie West Side Story. The Disney movie is directed by Steven Spielberg.
The woman had also shared the pictures of the two of them together along with screenshots of the direct messages.
The woman said that she met Ansel back in 2014, right before she turned seventeen. The actor was in his 20s then. She said that she had reached out to him originally as a fan and did not expect him to revert. According to reports, the girl and Ansel had engaged in Snapchatting. The girl also mentioned that the actor asked for nude photos.
The woman also wrote, “When it happened, instead of asking me if I was comfortable or I was in pain since it was my first time and I was sobbing in pain, he told me that we need to break you in.”
The woman said that she could not come out back then because the actor had allegedly told her that they could ruin his career. She also said that she kept on wondering what she had done wrong to have felt so used.
The woman added that even after so many years to the incident, she suffers from PTSD, she has panic attacks. She takes therapy.
Ansel Elgort has not yet commented on these allegations. The woman has received mixed responses, both praise, and criticism for coming forward and sharing her experience. She has now deleted all of her social media accounts.
The girl mentioned in her post that she is not posting this only for clout-chase because she simply does not care for that.
In April, earlier this year, someone called Esther had tweeted that she related to Elgort through Snapchat. She claimed that she was only 15 at the time of the digital exchange and Elgort was 21 then.
