The government based companies have been asked to amend their conditions in such a way that no Chinese company will be eligible to participate in the tender process. Also, they have been asked to cancel all the earlier tenders or deals fir Telecom development. Soon the directives for private dealers will be issued to boycott existing Chinese equipment and prohibit any new launch or purchase.

The amendments and following steps have been taken after witnessing the dispute at the borders of Ladakh and China. The items include cosmetics, bags, footwear, toys, watches, furniture, and other Chinese equipments. As per the CAT, the motive behind issuing the boycotting list is to curtail the import from China. India aims at curtailing the import by Rs 1 lakh crore or about Rs 13 Billion by December 2021.
