Registration for the Competency Enhancement Scheme began at DU

The Competency Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2023 registration session has been started at the University of Delhi. In this certain qualified candidates can apply for the courses on the official website

After 30 days, the registration window will close. Within seven days after the registration date, the merit list of candidates will be released publicly. The nodal center will be Delhi University’s Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILLL).

Professor Yogesh Singh, vice chancellor of DU, said that under the program, anyone of any age can grow their knowledge by taking any course provided by the university.

According to Delhi University, the Vice Chancellor stated that the program’s goals are to help entrepreneurs expand their businesses. Moreover to develop their managerial abilities, comprehend their educational dreams, empower senior citizens, and boost their self-confidence through learning with students. It also aims to make use of the university’s resources, and encourage student mobility.”

Non-senior citizens can apply at DU based on their merit. The admission of senior citizens will be based on merit and age, which contain a weightage of 70% and 30%, respectively. The maximum number of seats in a course will be 10% of the course’s total registration, or 6 seats, whichever is less.
