The Placement Cell of Shivaji College is going to conduct a three-day webinar session for the students. The webinar includes a series of CV, Personal interview i.e. PI, and Group Discussion which is GD. The name of this three-day session is MAKE YOUR IMPACT.
As it is really important for every person who is going to be a part of the corporate world to excel in these three rounds, the Placement Cell of Shivaji College is going to help students and guide them to deal with some common tactics.

‘LET YOUR RESUME SPEAK’ BY PLACEMENT CELL, SHIVAJI COLLEGE
On the first day, there would be a CV session named LET YOUR RESUME SPEAK. Ms. Shweta Raizada, a certified resume writer having experience of more than 7 years in the industry will grab the attention of the attendees. She will help the attendees to know the importance of an effective resume. Some students will get an opportunity to get their CVs reviewed by the expert. The webinar LET YOUR RESUME SPEAK would be conducted on 31st October, 2020 at 4 pm. This will be an online webinar on the Zoom platform.

‘EXCEL THE ROUND TABLE’ BY PLACEMENT CELL SHIVAJI COLLEGE
There will be a webinar on group discussion on the second day. This is the most crucial stage of the selection process and also the important one. Many top universities and educational institutions consider this as a part of the admission process also. The name of the webinar is ‘EXCEL THE ROUND TABLE’. Apart from knowledge and communication skills, candidates are marked based on mannerism and etiquette. So, a successful GD requires a lot more skills. This webinar would take place on the same platform and at the same timing.
‘COMMUNICATE WITH CLARITY’ BY PLACEMENT CELL, SHIVAJI COLLEGE
On the third day, i.e. on 2nd November, 2020, the Placement Cell of Shivaji College will conduct a webinar based on personal interviews. The name of the webinar is COMMUNICATE WITH CLARITY. Mr. Debashi Chakraborty will take up the webinar and help students to know the essentials of personal interviews. This is the stage of the selection process where students are not confident enough to showcase their skills. Although they have the potential to prove their best, but personal interviews become an obstacle for them. So, the speaker will help the attendees to enhance their confidence level and let them speak the best during their interview rounds. The timing for the webinar is 4 pm on the Zoom platform.
