This scholarship for OBC is also known as merit-cum-means scholarship and is offered to OBC students by the central government.

However, this scholarship for OBC is basically of 6 types and is offered by either the central or state government. There is a predetermined number of seats under every grant. Besides, a portion of these grants requires explicit standards to be qualified for the grant sum. In any case, these terms are conditions that can be changed with no earlier notification according to the convenience of the respective authority.

Students who belong to economically weaker backgrounds can take a lot of benefit from OBC scholarship. It relieves many of the hurdles that prevent students from completing their education. Destitution can unleash destruction on the student’s scholastics by driving students to wander. This can be shown through attempting to procure the lowest pay permitted by law to out and out introverted exercises.
