NEET Counselling 2020 will be held by the Medical Counselling Committee from 4th January 2020. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will initiate the registration for the stray vacancy round on this date. Hence, the registration and counselling will take place on the official site of MCC – mcc.nic.in.

The date has been decided by the Medical Counselling Committee keeping the last date for MBBS admission in mind. The MBBS admission date for the academic session 2020-2021 has been extended. Hence, according to NMC/Legal/2020/10310 Letter no. 126961 the last date of admission has been extended till 15th January 2021. However, the last date before was 24th December 2020.

How to apply for NEET Counselling 2020?

The application window will be made available from 4th January 2020. It will continue up till 6th January 2020, 12 p.m. However, the payment facility will be available to the applicants up till 3 p.m. Hence, aspiring students can apply for the stray vacancy round.

Student’s list based on their merit will be sent to the Medical and Dental Colleges on 7th January 2020. However, the merit should be equal to ten times the number of vacant seats. Hence, the candidates have to appear at their allotted medical institutions from 7th January to 15th January.

NEET 2021 ASPIRANTS DEMANDS FOR MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS IN EXAMS

Schedule of the NEET Counselling 2020 as per MCC:

Registration for the stray vacancy round will start on 4th January 2020 and end on 6th January 2020, up till 12 p.m. Payment has also to be done within this designated time. However, it can be extended to 3 p.m. on the same date.

MCC NEET COUNSELING 2020: ROUND 2 ALLOTMENT LETTER RELEASED

Reversion of the vacant seats to deemed/ central universities/ AIIMS & JIPMER / Central Institutes (Rohini, VMMC, ESIC). This will be done after the completion of the mop-up round of Counselling and registration. Hence, the scheduled date is 6th January 2020.

Student’s list will be then forwarded to the Medical and Dental Colleges from 7th January. Hence, physical reporting by the students will carry on after this. The undergraduate session will kick start on 2nd February 2021. Hence, this is the systematic schedule issued by MCC.
