The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will declare the date sheet of CBSE board exams for class 10th and 12th students today. Due to COVID-19, all the schools regulated the academic session online. But, the administration will conduct the board exams of class 10th and 12th students in offline mode.

Students will appear for offline mode or pen or paper mode of examination. They have to strictly adhere to social distancing norms. Everyone has to wear masks and follow social distancing.

This year, CBSE would focus more on students understanding rather than their mug-up ability. There would be more questions relating to subject wise understanding. CBSE would analyze the reading, interpretation, understanding as well as answer writing ability of the students.

SAMPLE PAPERS ARE RELEASED ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF CBSE

Joseph Emmanuel is the director of academics at CBSE. He said that CBSE would now move away from rot learning. The education board has also released sample papers based on a new pattern. Students who want to go through the sample paper can download it from the official website of CBSE.

30 PERCENT SYLLABUS REDUCED FOR STUDENTS

Moreover, the education board has also reduced the syllabus of class 9th to 12th students up to 30 percent. Due to COVID 19, the administration felt short of the academic hours. So, the education board took this decision.

LEFT-OUT TOPICS WOULD NOT BE A PART OF BOARD EXAMS

However, the education board said in a statement that the school’s authority must have explained the left out topics to students so that they can connect with different topics. Lastly, the left-out topics are not a part of the syllabus and the board would not consider it as a part of internal assessment and year-end board exams.

BOARD EXAMS WOULD TAKE PLACE AFTER FEBRUARY

The education board said that exams that are held in March or April would not postpone because of COVID 19. After February 2021, the education board would conduct class 10th and 12th board exams. All the states board will follow the suits differently.
