DU graduates

The Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE 2020) schedule is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam is conducted for admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The testing agency confirmed that the exam is scheduled from October 5 to October 8, 2020. It will be an MCQ based examination which will take place in two shifts i.e. morning and afternoon shifts, from 9 am to 12 pm and the next slot is from 3 pm to 6 pm.

From 21st September, aspirants can access the admit cards from the official A website. The agency official approved the update by saying that the NTA site will display the admit cards online from Monday, 21st September 2020 for the JNUEE candidates.

The students can download the admit cards from the site. A self-declaration form will also accompany the candidates along with their admit cards to the test center. This form can be downloaded from the same site with the admit card.

The procedure to download the admit is:

First, click on the link below, which is the official website of NTA.

You have to select your date of birth and also your admission number by clicking on the option named “Admit Card JNUEE 2020”

Enter the captcha carefully and submit the form.

Then the admit card will be shown on the screen of your device.

 

The link for the official website is https://jnuexams.nta.nic.in/. A detailed exam date sheet is available on this website.

Session 1 is planned on October 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. It will be taken for admissions in M.Phil, Ph.D., M.C.A., PGD, M.A. programme, etc. On the same day, the next slot is from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The candidates are aspiring to get admission in the School of International Studies (SIS), School of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies (SL), School of Social Sciences (SSS), School of Arts and Aesthetics (SAA), School of Physical Sciences (SPS), School of Computer and System Sciences (SCSS), School of Computational and Integrative Sciences (SCIS), Special Centre for Disaster Research (SCDR), School of Environmental Sciences (SES), Centre for Sanskrit Studies (CSS), Centre for the Study of Law & Governance (CLG), School of Life Sciences (SLS), School of Biotechnology (SBT), Centre for Molecular Medicine (CMM) and lastly Centre for Nano Sciences (CNS).

The timings remain the same i.e. two slots in the day for the three upcoming days.

Only a limited number of seats are offered by the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University. Thus, the students are advised to shortlist three courses according to their preference. They can appear for their entrance exams on the scheduled dates. Due to cut-throat competition, the selection procedure involves clearing the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) and also the viva-voice.

NTA conducts both the JNUEE and the JNU CEEB examinations.

As per official data, last year for 3,383 seats around 1,16,558 candidates registered. Vice-Chancellor Jagdesh Kumar tweeted to update that this year 1,35,462 candidates have shown their interest in admission to the University. He further informed that this year more women and minority communities have come forward.

This year will witness a computer-based model of the entrance examination.

NTA released a notification regarding the dates of UPSC examinations. As per the schedule, October 4, 2020, will witness the UPSC prelims.
