Students of Jamia Millia Islamia hailing from Jammu and Kashmir were sent back to their homes on Sunday. Special buses were arranged by the university itself.

As per the university, two university guards who happen to be former army personnel will accompany them on buses.
Buses were sanitized properly before leaving for medical screening of students, guards, and drivers for fever and other symptoms related to the coronavirus in Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences.

University authorities said they are concerned about sending resident students back to their homes and they are even making arrangements for hostellers to ensure their safe return to their respective states.
Residents of the girls and boys hostel wrote to the V-C saying they can’t vacate hostels Watching all their belongings currently.
Students have urged the administration to rethink and reanalyze their decision to vacate hostels at this time.
