IIM Rohtak has invited applications for its fourth batch of Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management.
Those candidates who have an aptitude for management and have a passion for sports can now apply for the course at IIM Rohtak.
This Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management offers an innovative, interdisciplinary curriculum that is at par with the best in the world comparatively.
Therefore, all those who wish to apply for the course, it is notable that, the online registrations are open till 19 July 2021. Candidates willing to apply can register online on the official website – admission.iimrohtak.ac.in. Sports assessment aptitude tests and personal interviews will be a part of the selection process.
An opportunity to pursue MSc in Sports Management from Ulster University, UK will also be given to the participants of the course on successful completion of the EPGDSM program.
All the courses of the EPGDSM program (in IIM Rohtak), will have one 60 credit Sports Consultancy Project (which is to be covered over approx five months). Noatbly, it will be considered equivalent to the minimum credit requirement for the award of the degree of MSc with Ulster University.

ELIGIBILITY FOR EPGDSM PROGRAM
To apply for the fourth batch of 2 year Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management, any applicant will have to clear the eligibility criteria which includes a bachelor’s degree (in any discipline).
Also, the candidates should also be able to demonstrate an interest in sports to clear the eligibility criteria. Additionally, If any candidate has any work experience in a relevant field, he/she will be an added advantage.
Also, IIM Rohtak became the first IIM to train professionals for the many sports management career options. IIM Rohtak introduced the Post Graduate Programme in Sports Management in 2018.

From the previous batches of PGDSM, the participants had taken up intern assignments in various sporting events (BWF Super Series event, AFC Cup 2019, Chennaiyin FC (ISL Football Championship), POKKT, and others). Consequently, they have had national and international level participation in various sports fields (Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Tennis, and more).
