An online campaign has been started by the students of the Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce (DU SRCC). The campaign is to raise money for arranging an oxygen plant at a COVID care center.
For the initiative, DU SRCC college students intend to raise the fund by Rs 35,00,000. As of now, they have collected over Rs 3.45 lakh.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the students of Shri Ram College of Commerce have decided to start a campaign. They altogether join hands with Doctors For You, an association carrying out outstanding work in the field of COVID relief, as per the post made online.
The online post for the fundraiser read their primary purpose would be to supplement their efforts by funding the installation of an oxygen plant. They decided to set up an oxygen plant that can generate 150 liters of oxygen per minute. So that they can serve around 20-30 beds at a time.

WUS HEALTH CENTRE TO PROVIDE COVID VACCINES TO DU FACULTY MEMBERS
It is planned to install it at the Commonwealth Games Centre, which has been transformed into a 500-bed free-of-cost COVID-care installation. However, it is primarily regulated by Doctors For You.
Moreover, amid the second wave of Coronavirus across the country, the University of Delhi (DU) has stepped up preparations for the rescue of a possible third wave of Corona. Due to which the DU administration has taken many important decisions regarding oxygen and corona care center.
DU STARTS PREPARATIONS FOR THE THIRD WAVE OF COVID-19
DU has opened Corona Care Center at Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, Laxmibai College, amidst cases of the present infection of Corona. At the same time, DU has started preparations for a possible third wave. Under which the DU will open hostels, the Corona Center in the stadium. A 100 bed COVID Center will also be opened in the hostel of Janaki Devi Memorial College, Hansraj College. A 200-bed corona center will also start in a hostel on the DU campus.
