The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta organized a virtual conference for the new batch of students this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. Generally, these annual conferences are organized across the country for the upcoming batch. In which new students get a chance to interact with existing students, renowned alumni, and future students. A virtual conference was organized last year also due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The spokesperson of IIM-Calcutta said that a total of 480 people participated in these recently held conferences. This included students of the upcoming batch, students of the current batch, and eminent alumni.

It is to be known that for the last year, due to Corona, classes are not being organized in educational institutions across the country. Even board exams have been canceled.
