According to the latest updates of Delhi University, everybody is expecting that the varsity would begin its DU admission process soon. The expectations say that it would commence on 15th July. Due to COVID-19, the varsity will hold the entire admission process online. However, there are some possibilities for the varsity to make some changes in the admission process.

This year, CBSE and CISCE board has canceled class 12th exams. The varsity may conduct CUCET for the students to grant them admission into undergraduate courses.

DU ADMISSION PROCESS ON MERIT LIST

Every year, DU affiliated colleges declare cut-off for different courses. The cut-off is declared based on the percentage obtained in class 12th board exams.

LAST YEAR’S CUT-OFF LIST FOR VARIOUS COURSES

Talking about the cut-off of various programs, Ramjas College closed the admission for zoology program last year on 95.33 percent. On the other hand, Kirorimal College closed the admission for Physics and Botany on 93.33 percent and 95.66 percent respectively. SRCC closed the admission for Statistics on 97 percent.

DECISION FOR DU ADMISSION PROCESS

For the DU admission process, the official will hold a meeting with the admission committee and the academic council. All together they will decide the entire admission process.

The acting Vice-Chancellor said that the varsity will not comprise on merit-based admission. But, they too know that holding CUCET for the students can be a good choice.
