Ayumu Murase & Bryson Baugus as Shoyo Hinata
Haikyuu voice actors’ list advents with Ayumu Murase, who is the original voice of Shoyo Hinata. Hinata is the central character in the manga series and serves as a human form of determination and strength in the series. Shoyo Hinata’s dubbing for English has been done by Bryson Baugus. He is a first-year student at Kurasuno High School and joined the Volleyball team, becoming a middle blocker. Hinata’s dream is to become strong enough to spike past tall blockers just like the Small Giant once did. Like the Small Giant, he specializes in leaping to compensate for his lack of height. Hinata’s height is 162.8 cm, making him the second shortest person on his team. Regularly he wears a training outfit that is a burgundy color and white-toed sneakers with accents of green. He is also seen with his training outfit that has black stripes on the side. He occasionally wears a regular white T-shirt and shorts.

Kaito Ishikawa & Scott Gibbs as Tobio Kageyama
Tobio Kageyama, who is known as “The King Of The Court” in the series, is the show’s following lead. Tobio, like many characters in the Japanese series in the past, starts as an opponent but then becomes one of the good people on the show. The Haikyuu voice cast which is responsible for bringing him to life are Kaito Ishikawa (Who is Tobio’s original Japanese voice) and the member from the list of Haikyuu dub voice actors that has given his voice for the English version is Scott Gibbs.
He was popularly regarded as a volleyball prodigy by many of the prefecture’s players and coaches. After joining Karasuno, he manages to change his formerly self-centered attitude for the better with the help of his new teammates and ‘rediscover’ what it means to be a part of a team. He was chosen to train at the All-Japan youth training camp during his first year of high school and joined the V League shortly after he graduated. He became a part of Japan’s national volleyball team at the age of 19, contributing to the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Satoshi Hino & Justin Doram as Daichi Sawamura
The next addition to the list of Haikyuu characters is its tertiary lead, Daichi Sawamura. Daichi Sawamura is known to be one of those stable-headed characters who later gets handed over the duty of keeping a full volleyball team in check. The Haikyuu voice cast that has brought Sawamura to life is Satoshi Hiro (For the Japanese version) and the member of the Haikyuu dub voice actors who is essentially Hino’s English counterpart is Justin Doram.
Daichi is a very caring and responsible chief who always puts his team first. He is also very patient and empathetic, but becomes terrifying when angry, though he rarely shows this behavior. He becomes very strict when his teammates are out of line. Nevertheless, his actions have always been in the best interest of the team. Due to his devotion to his team and his grip, he is both well-respected and feared by his team. Outside of his traits as a captain and team player, Daichi is incredibly developed and self-sufficient.

Daisuke Namikawa & Chris Patton as Toru Oikawa
Toru Oikawa is the show’s foe and later on, in the series, develops into one of the show’s most complex and important characters. The name of Toru Oikawa voice actor is Daisuke Namikawa, who is essentially the Japanese voice for Oikawa, while Chris Patton is responsible for making Oikawa’s parables and expectations clear for the English-speaking audience.
Oikawa is the captain of Aoba Johsai’s volleyball team and is widely heeded as the pacesetter. A former member and setter of Kitagawa Daiichi, he won the “Best Setter Award” in the Miyagi prefecture during his third year in junior high. In spite of his flirtatious nature (which makes him famous amongst female students, much to Tanaka and Nishinoya’s envy) and childishness (as pointed out by his nephew and Iwaizumi), Oikawa is an excellent, well-rounded player and is extremely serious about volleyball. He’s known to have a “disgusting personality” amongst both opponents and his teammates because of his smug, yet outwardly flippant attitude. Oikawa also frequently makes cheerful remarks but follows them up with serious or intimidating afterthoughts. Oikawa is extremely smart and cunning and easily figures out both his teammate’s and opponents’ drawbacks.

Yoshimasa Hosoya & Orlanders Jones as Asahi Azumane
Asahi Azumane is one of those characters who is essentially reliving his past as a volleyball player while he tends to his professional commitments as a Tokyo-based apparel designer. Now and then, Asahi acts as a voice of reason for the characters who are currently on the court. The Haikyuu voice actors that brought Azumane to life are Yoshimasa Hosoya for the Japanese version, while the dubbing in English for the character in question has been done by Orlanders Jones.
In contrast to his appearance, he is rather quiet and peaceful and has problems realizing that he is Karasuno’s ace, as he initially doesn’t feel that way. Kaori Nazuka and Rebekah Stevens as Kiyoko Shimizu.
Kaori Nazuka is the Japanese voice and Rebekah Stevens is the English voice artist for Haikyuu’s famous female character.
She was formerly a manager of the Karasuno High Volleyball School. As of November 2018, she is married to Tanaka and has changed her name to Kiyoko Tanaka (works as a sports store employee. Kiyoko is mainly known for her aloof and honest personality as she is known to be serious and passionate about her position as the volleyball club’s team manager. She is also shown to look after a lot about the team partners in the volleyball club.
