Academic sessions are delayed by three to four months due to non-annual examination of schools and universities across the country. With this, DTU has become the first university in the country to award degrees by completing an academic session on time.
Till last year at DTU, the annual examination under the traditional examination method used to get marks based on the answers given by the student to the questions. Based on this, the result was prepared and the degree was obtained. Due to this examination method, students used to pass the exam by applying rote instead of understanding the subject. This did not give the student a full understanding of the subject. Due to the overall development of the students, the university has taken the initiative to prepare the results from the year-long evaluation.
