The results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 will be released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay on 22 March 2021. The result can be checked on the official website at gate.iitb.ac.in. The answer key for the same will also be available on the website.
Based on marks obtained by candidates in their respective papers, the result will be announced.
From the date of declaration of result, the score remains valid for three years.
On 14 February 2021, the GATE exam concluded. 78 percent attendance was recorded this year overall. As per the schedule, the exam was conducted on 6, 7, 13, 14 February. 5 and 12 were the additional days to ensure the safety measures owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A total of 616 exam centers arranged across 200 cities all over the country were there. As per the report released by the IIT Bombay, over 9 lakh admit cards were issued for the exam.

The cutoff this year, as per the experts, will be around 34. For Public Sector Undertakings, the candidates above 75 marks will be eligible. Whereas above 75 marks are required for MTech from IITs.
