JNU campus reopen

The Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) as part of its eighth and ninth phase of reopening has allowed its final year Ph.D. students to return to the University campus.

As per a notification dated 12th February, the day scholars of 9B students who are required to submit their theses on or before 30th June are permitted to enter the JNU campus from Monday I.e. 15th February, whereas the Ph.D. scholars residing in the JNU hostels will be allowed to return from 22nd February.

The JNU has further permitted the reopening of the library canteen from instant effect.

The B and C gates of the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus towards Saraswati Puran will further be opened for central school students and their guardians during the school reopening and closing times, it read.

Previously, Jawaharlal Nehru University permitted its fourth semester MTech and MPhil students of its science institute and special center, as well as final year students of MBA, both hostel residents, and day scholars, to return to the JNU campus in the seventh phase of JNU reopening.

The BR Ambedkar central library of the Jawaharlal Nehru University has also partially reopened.
