The summer internship placement process for the 2020-22 batch has been finalized by the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at Delhi University with all its students
The highest average stipend has been reported for two months at Rs 2,41,400, a 5 percent growth from the prior year. This year 64 percent of the batch – 183 aspirants got stipends of Rs 2 lakh or more.
FMS said in an official statement that the median package of summer internships got boosted by 10 percent to Rs 2.20 lakh.
According to Variety, about 18 percent of students were hired in the consulting and general management domains, while 12 percent received offers for finance roles. About 42 percent of students accepted offers in sales and marketing, rolled out by the most prestigious companies nationwide.

There has been an index 43 percent rise in e-commerce / IT/operations roles over the prior year, encompassing 67 accepted offers from recruiters such as Amazon, Adobe, Biju, CloudTel, Flipkart, Google, Infosed, Microsoft, Optum, Purple, and Udaan. According to the FMS, there was a 34 percent rise in the number of offers in e-commerce.
