A delegation of DUSU  (Delhi University Students Union) communicated to the Dean (Examinations) to alleviate technical errors that have appeared in recent results during OBE exams for both UG and PG courses.

The panel, along with the President met Professor Vinay Gupta, to resolve the matter of technical glitches.

We implored the Dean to assure every student should appear for forthcoming even semester exam and online attendance should not be taken into the count as eligibility criteria for the December examinations, DUSU said.

Speaking to IANS, DUSU President Akshit Dhaiya that many candidates had expressed various problems regarding the Online Open Book Examinations comprising shortcomings in the record or being marked absent in some of the examination despite giving the same. Following this, we agreed to meet the Dean (Examinations) and also give him a representation to solve this problem.

Several media reports had asserted that soon after the results of the Online Open Book Examinations were announced by the university, it had put pupils into trouble. Many students alleged that despite giving examinations and submitting answer sheets on time amid the pandemic, the results have marked the pupils ‘absent’ in various subjects, creating a panic condition.
