On Saturday, the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) urges the principals and teachers of 70 Delhi University colleges to clear pending results and give considerable chances to students to submit assignments for ABE examinations.

In a statement, the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU), said it submitted its demands to the Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) as well as the Delhi University Principals’ Association (DUPA).

Among other demands, the students union also requested that attendance should not be counted. Colleges should not count attendance in the marking of Assessment Based Evaluation (ABE).

DUSU said in a statement that the results of many courses of pending semesters are yet to be announced. They request to kindly immediate teachers to declare the pending results as soon as possible.

It further added that students of intermediate years giving their assignment-based exams (ABE) should be given one more chance to submit their assignments.

The statement also urges the colleges to re-conduct practical without evaluation.

IT further added that it has been seen that the learning process has been influenced in the online mode. Especially in practical subjects. So they request that the practicals be performed again without examination, just for understanding for those who want to opt for it.
