New Delhi, April 14, 2020: The Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) announced to donate an amount of RS 1 Lakh to the PM Cares Fund in view of the recent pandemic virus which has reach zenith in the entire county.

The DUSU has also advised the affiliated college unions and representative societies to contribute to PM Cares Fund.

 DUSU President Akshit Dahiya in order to protect the student from the virus outbreak had called upon an ‘Executive Council Meeting’ to discuss the issues of the students and measures to protect them from this pandemic.

 It had passed the resolution regarding hailing its students and to follow the guidelines prescribed by the Prime Minister of India Mr.Narendra Modi.

 The executive council of DUSU has also decided to form five panels, each panel will consist of the seven representatives, to look in to the matters related to the issues of the students, like the semester examinations, evaluation, syllabus, and review committee.

“We recognize the exemplary efforts of the doctors, paramedical staff, policemen, cleaning and sanitation staff, bank employees, and government officials in the leadership of the Prime Minister”, recorded in a statement.

 DUSU has also condemned the spread of the virus by the people of Tabligi Jamat and has demanded strict action against all the violators of the law.

Ithas also guided all the students of Delhi University to maintain law and order and follow the guidelines of the government in order to rescue from this deadly pandemic.
