Parole is like a boon for criminals. Under this, keeping in mind the family needs, the criminals are released from jail for a few days before the completion of their sentence. The only condition for this is that the character and behavior of the person serving the sentence should be excellent. Many times some prisoners obtain parole based on money and influence. Five years ago today, Delhi’s most wanted criminal Vijay Singh alias Pehalwan came out of jail on one such parole.

He was released for two days. But when the police arrived to pick him up after the completion of his parole period, he had absconded from home. Delhi Police started searching for Vijay Pehalwan.

Vijay Pehalwan had absconded from his home in the year 2018. Delhi Police kept searching for him for four months. After this, a special team was formed announcing a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his head.

This team included a DCP, an ACP, an SI, an ASI, and three constables. After a search of five years, on November 19, the police team came to know that the wrestler was living in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. As soon as the information was received, the team left for Jabalpur from Delhi. After reaching there, the police were surprised to see his influence. The wrestler was living under the protection of four armed bodyguards. The police set a trap and arrested him from his house.
