DU UG Admission 2022: The University of Delhi released its first seat allocation list, in which over 72,000 students have accepted the allotted seats. Consequently, many colleges expected that the process would conclude sooner.
This year several universities are participating in CUET for their UG admission which includes Delhi University too. So, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score is a deciding factor for admission into DU. There is no role for class 12 marks for the academic session 2022-23.

University allocated over 80,000 seats
In the first merit list released by the university, a total of 80,164 students were chosen for seat allocation. And in just a few days 72,866 students have accepted the seats allocated to them. This means the admission process may be concluded by 25.
This year there is a huge contradiction in the beliefs of students and colleges. Many college principals have said that this year the process is quite simpler than before. Whereas, students have complained that the DU UG admission 2022 process is complicated.
DU UG Admission 2022: Extension in the last date of fee payment
Delhi University considers the request of the aspirants and keeping the festive season in mind, the extension of fee payment is announced. Now, the students can pay the fee by 25 October (till 2 PM). Moreover, till now over 43,00 have locked their seats by paying the fee.
According to the source, a total of 26,274 UG admissions are underway. Besides, the varsity will release the second allocation list after considering the available number of seats.
