The University of Delhi has released the official guidelines for semester exams 2021 starting from 30th November 2021. Hence, these guidelines for the open book exams must be thoroughly read by students. Also, the varsity clearly mentions that those students who have opted for the physical mode can also give their exams from home.

The last date for filling the exam form is 18th November 2021. However, the possibility of a date extension is high.

Here are the guidelines for the DU semester exams 2021:

As per the guidelines, the colleges should upload the mobile numbers and email-id of their nodal officers on the college website. Thus, students can reach them in case they have any queries regarding registration or during exams. Also, all the students have an option to choose between physical mode of exams (in-college) or using ICT-based facilities.

The guidelines read, “Those students who have opted for physical exams can switch to remote mode but not vice-versa. Also, the colleges will provide the necessary infrastructure in compliance with the MHA and UGC guidelines considering covid-19.”

How will DU semester exams 2021 undergo?

As for the physical mode of exams, everything will be provided to the students by the college. Hence, the students only need to bring their own A4 size sheets for writing.

WHEN DU COLLEGES WILL RESUME PHYSICAL CLASSES?

The students will get a time limit of 4 hours, i.e. 3 hours for writing and 1 hour for scanning and uploading answer sheets. Also, the answers should be uploaded in PDF or JPEG format only. Apart from this, the differently-abled students will get a time limit of 6 hours. If any student faces some issues in uploading documents within the stipulated time, they can get an extra hour. But, they need some documentary evidence of the cause of delay.
