Delhi University (DU) semester exams will start from 30th November this month. The examination branch of DU has sought the database of teachers from all the faculty/college/department/center till November 15. About 2.5 lakh students will give the semester examination.

DU semester exams for Undergraduate, Postgraduate Regular Course, and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). These exams will be for semesters 1, 3, 5, and 7. The date sheets of all the courses have been uploaded on the website (du.ac.in), although this is a tentative date sheet.

Due to Covid-19, this time also there will be an Open Book Examination (OBE). The examinations will start from November 30 and will continue till December 30. Apart from the regular courses, the examination branch has also released the date sheet for the School of Open Learning and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board.

In addition, the exams for PG courses and professional courses will be faculty/department-wise. The Examination Branch says that on the recommendations of the Working Group-Examinations, it has been decided that the examinations of PG and Professional courses will be held by the Faculty/Department.

DU STUDENTS DEMAND CANCELATION OF ONLINE EXAMS

These exams will be held in December and will be through open book mode. The Examination Branch has asked all the Faculty/Department to prepare the date sheet.

The branch has said that the examinations will run from December 15 to December 28 according to the academic calendar. A separate date sheet will be prepared for the semester scheme (for students taking admission till 2018) and the CBCS scheme (for those taking admission in 2019 and 2020). The unique paper code will have to be written in the date sheets, which have been sent by the examination branch.

DU ADMISSION 2021 UNDER SPORTS QUOTA BEGINS ON 8 NOVEMBER

The exam will start in two shifts from 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. In this three-hour exam, one more hour will be given for downloading question papers, scanning, and uploading answer sheets. At the same time, there will be 4 hours for disabled students. The final date sheet will have to be sent to the examination branch. Exams can also be held on Sundays. The examination branch has been asked to send the date sheet by 20 to the Dean/Head/Director of all the Faculty/Department/Center.
