After the news of Delhi University reopening from 17th February 2022, not all DU outstation students are happy. Hence, most of them are worried about several things especially finding accommodation in such less time. Thus, not all DU outstation students are in favor of offline studies. Rather, they favor a hybrid mode where students get to decide whether to go or not as per their preferences.
Hybrid mode is the voice of DU outstation students:
Many DU outstation students are using Twitter to highlight their opinions and demands. Hence, hashtags like #HybridModeShouldBeAChoice and #HybridModeforDU are trending. As per such students, travelling to Delhi, finding accommodations and paying such high rents on such short notice is not just. Hence, all this can put them into financial distress as a lot of money is needed for all this.
Some outstation students come from far off states like Northeast and South India. Hence, such students need extra time for preparation before coming back to Delhi. Also, final year students of Delhi University who have just 2 months of college life left are under problem. They are unwilling to pay accommodation and traveling expenses for just 2 months of college.
