DU online classes are all set to begin from 22nd November 2021. Hence, this news evoked disappointment among freshers as they were looking forward to offline physical classes. It is a dream of many DU aspirants to chat and hang out at chai tapris, talk on sprawling lawns, attended classroom lectures, and much more. But, none of this is possible as DU online classes will begin soon.

DU online classes disappointed the freshers:
In a recent notice, the varsity stated that the physical classes will start in a phased manner soon. However, the new academic calendar released for all UG and PG students stated otherwise. Thus, this academic calendar stating the continuance of DU online classes has dampened the hopes of freshers. Also, they stated that they were looking forward to offline classes after 2 years of online studies in school. Hence, all disappointed students asked in unison, “Offline kyun nhi?”

Nidhi Bhan, a BCom fresher from Shri Ram College for Commerce lamented on missing all the fun with her batchmates. She added that she passed out from school without even getting a proper farewell. Hence, she wishes that atleast the fully vaccinated should be allowed to attend classes.
Another student, Shashwat Chandra from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies longs for campus days. Thus, he said that getting into one of the best colleges with Delhi University online classes is a complete waste.
Students say that what is the point of getting admissions with cutoffs of 100 percent when they won’t get a chance to visit their colleges.
