The University of Delhi (DU) has launched three new short term courses by the Department of Adult, Continuing Education, and Extension. Thus, these short term courses are open to both students who have passed class 12th and also working professionals. Students who haven’t enrolled at Delhi University are also eligible to apply for these new courses.

Details about the three new short term courses:

Namely, the courses are ‘Counselling and Guidance’ Course, ‘English language Proficiency’ course, and ‘Travel and Tourism’ course. So, each of these courses has a duration of three months for completion. As for eligibility criteria, anyone who has completed their class 12 irrespective of the stream can apply.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar is the head of the Department of Adult, Continuing Education and Extension at DU. As per his statement, these newly introduced courses can prove to be extremely beneficial for working professionals from different fields. Anyone ranging from a manager to an advocate to even a secretary can join freely.

Fees for these short term courses:

Also, there are approximately 40 seats in each course. Admissions will be done on the basis of first-come, first-served. As for fees, the prices range in between Rs. 2200 and Rs. 2500. Thus, the fee range is kept at a very affordable rate. DU is also offering various internships along with these short term courses, where students can apply.

DU Admissions 2021:

The registrations for DU admissions 2021 are expected to start from July 15. These admissions will be conducted on a merit basis, i.e. the class 12th score of students. However, the question of a common entrance test still lingers and discussions are going on.
