DU Graduates from the batch of 2021 might get their degrees soon. Thus, the varsity is planning to issue hard copies of the degrees to DU graduates 2 months after its convocation ceremony. The Delhi University convocation ceremony is to be held in February 2022. Hence, degrees will be awarded by April 2022.
Quick-release of degrees will benefit the DU graduates:
The University of Delhi aims to reduce the woes of students so that they can focus on other things. History has testimonies that DU graduates atleast wait for 2 years before having their degrees in hand. Hence, the varsity wants to change this fact. As per officials, the University plans on giving printed degrees to approximately 1 lakh graduates. Also, it includes students from Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL).
Statement of DS Rawat on giving degrees to DU graduates:
According to DS Rawat, the dean of exams at Delhi University, degrees will be given to all the students who graduated last year in 2021. Also, he added that the data has already been sent for printing. Previously, colleges were responsible for collecting the data which was a complicated and time taking process. But, now the varsity is solely responsible for all of it.
DU RELEASES DRAFT UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK (UGCF 2022) FOR REVIEWS
Changes were also made in DU exam forms where students were asked to write their names and enrollment numbers in Hindi. Also, this information was given in their mark sheets as well as admit cards. Post results declaration, all students got emails to cross-check their mark sheets. Hence, for any mistakes, students needed to contact their colleges. This way, data gathering was easy and so is printing results for DU graduates of 2021.
