The DSEU or Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University will initiate an advanced diploma in software programming. According to reports, it will be a 20-month long course to encourage women and trans women.
DSEU has collaborated with the Navgurukul Foundation for Social Welfare. The NFSW is a non-profit organization and runs residential software engineering courses for marginalized communities. Moreover, the objective of this program is to encourage women and trans women towards their interest in software programming.

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY FOR THE DSEU PROGRAM
The program is for Delhi’s women and trans women. The age group should be 17-30. Also, only underprivileged aspirants are eligible to apply for this.
However, this residential program will concentrate on training 100 women and trans women. “We will give them hands-on learning in software development, coding,” NFSW said.
For selection, aspirants have to give an exam. It is expected that the course will begin in December 2021.
WILL OPEN THE DOOR OF OPPORTUNITIES
The course will help candidates to get a stable job. The NGO will provide placement opportunities at the end of the course. Additionally, they will ensure that students get employed in the software development industry.
The vice-chancellor of DSEU said, “Formal and informal systems have their benefits. So, DSEU would like to work together with the Navgurukul. In addition, she said, “We want to encourage and modify individual lives and their communities too.”
The Co-founder of Navgurukal said, “We completely support industry-relevant learning instead of teaching. Based on learning capacity, candidates will get employment within 4 to 20 months.
Moreover, the Delhi Government also appreciates it and said that students will have control over their learning. They can also earn credits through the Academic bank of credit.
