On May 3, Rahul Humnekar, a BA program first-year student of Satyavati College Evening, Delhi University passed away due to COVID. He was fighting with Covid since 18 April and asked for attendance from the teacher just one day before his death.

In his class WhatsApp group, he said to the teacher that his oxygen level is low and he is facing difficulty concentrating on running online classes and the online exams.

Despite suffering from COVID, he was worried about his classes and exams. Many students might be suffering from COVID but still, DU is standstill that it will take the exam anyhow.

The University of Delhi should take care of the mental health of students. In this miserable condition, the exam is like mental torture.

Moreover, earlier Delhi University students have gathered together and participated in a Twitter storm. Thus, they are trying to ensure that their voice is heard. Almost 3000 students signed the petition mentioning their stress and trauma.
