Delhi University is one of the premier educational institutes in the country. So, the institute has many stakeholders of the defined educational standards and patterns. As of now, the country is on the way to implementing the National Educational(NEP) 2020. In which Delhi University is also all set to go with the NEP 2020 from the next academic session. Recently, the students and teachers of the University have protested against the implementation of NEP 2020. Together on the four-year undergraduate program(FYUP). In the protest, several organizations of students and teachers have participated.
For the last few months, NEP 2020 is one of the major topics at Delhi University. Many of the officials have continuously talked about the various aspect of the NEP 2020. University has also held many meetings of the academic and executive councils on the NEP 2020. Then after finalized the roadmap for NEP 2020 implementation.

Students and teachers of the Delhi University protested against the NEP 2020 outside the Shashtri Bhawan, the office of the Ministry of Education. Representatives of the organizations have addressed the protest. In the protest, various demands raised. Moreover, organizations members have said that if their demands are not met. Then, they will intensify their protest. The University has already made all the arrangements to implement NEP 2020.

A delegation was also sent to the ministry of education with the memorandum. They have made their demand with the competent authority. In the protest, various organizations like the All India Forum for Right to Education (AIFTRE), All India Revolutionary Students Organization (AIRSO) have also participated. Then after groups like AISA, DYFI, SFI, and the Youth for Swaraj were also there.
