The seats are almost full after the completion of the admission process including the third cut-off for undergraduate courses in Delhi University. October 22 is the last date for approval by colleges and October 23 for fee submission.
After this, the special cut-off will be out on October 25. According to the DU administration, the special cut-off will go down by a very small margin, as the seats in most of the colleges in selected courses are full.
According to the data released by the DU administration on Friday, after the third cut-off, 58406 students have got their seats reversed by depositing fees. At the same time, after verifying the documents of 9614 students, approval has been given by the principal. These students have to deposit the fees by the evening of 23 October. If all the approved students pay the fees, then the total number of students who got admission will be 68080. In this way, DU seats will be almost full.
There are about 70000 seats for undergraduate courses in all the colleges of DU and more than 68000 admissions are done in them. Only 2000 seats will be left. The cut-off will be out for these seats. Although many students change colleges after the cut-off, the number of such students is not very much.
