The academic calendar for the odd semesters is yet awaited in various colleges but as per the sources, the classes for the odd semester can be expected to commence from 18 November.
The universities have been asked by the University Grants Commission to complete their respective admission procedures by October 31. In accordance with this, the classes for the odd semesters i.e. 1st, 3rd, 5th are supposed to commence from 1 November 2020. Considering the possibility of delay, the UGC has permitted the universities to begin the classes for the odd semester intermediate batches from 18 November 2020.
The recommendation is to conduct 6 days a week for this academic session for 2020-21 in order to compensate for the loss of learning hours.
