The states are reopening schools and colleges in a restricted manner due to the decreasing number of coronavirus cases in the country. On Tuesday, Tamil Nadu was included in the list of the states who have reopened colleges, schools, and other educational institutions.
However, the Telangana government plans to reopen its educational institutions from the next month. Physical classes in schools and colleges are set to resume from 1st February 2021.
KARNATAKA
Among the states reopening schools and colleges, Karnataka stands in the first place. The schools in the state have already started physical classes from January 1, 2021. The college of first, second-and third-year students are set to reopen from 14th January 2021.
PUNJAB
The students of classes 5 to 12 will resume from January 7. The Punjab government has staggered the timings from 10 am to 3 pm.

MAHARASHTRA
For the students of classes 9th to 12th physical classes were resumed from November 23rd. Moreover, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation decided to keep the schools and colleges closed due to the new strain of coronavirus. They will be closed till January 15.
TAMIL NADU
The students of classes 10 and 12 can take physical classes from January 19.
TELANGANA
The classes will be resumed for the students of Class 9th and above. The state government has announced the opening from February 1.
GUJARAT
The students of Class 10th, 12th, final year graduation, and post-graduation will be able to resume offline classes from January 11.

RAJASTHAN
The Rajasthan government plans to reopen schools, colleges, and other educational institutions from January 18th, 2021. Moreover, following the COVID -19 guidelines, Dental college, Paramedical College, Medical college, and Nursing college will reopen from January 11.
