The Placement cell of the University of Delhi and that of colleges separately have become active yet again and the preparation for the placements and internships for the batch of 2021 has begun.
The process of registration at the Central Placement Cell of the University of Delhi has started on September 28 and students willing to secure internships and participate in the placement drives will have to register with the CPC.
Only post-registration, the final year students of various undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be eligible to assert their candidature before the companies fro the placement through the Central Placement Cell. In addition to this, the students in their first and intermediate year i.e. students of first and second year can only take part in securing internships, mandatorily post-registration.
Registration for appearing for the internship opportunities is free of cost whereas the students willing to appear for placements will have to pay a certain amount of registration fee.

Students of the Non-Collegiate Woman’s Education Board and that of the School of Open Learning can also register with the Central Placement Cell. These students will not participate in the placement directly, instead, their database will be made and then a prepared list will be forwarded to companies as per their requirement.
Students belonging to the general-OBC category will have to pay a sum of a hundred rupees as the registration fee.
The placement process is expected to kick start from the month of October-November. A workshop on skill development, making biodata and several other topics will also be conducted in the meanwhile.
