The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has taken an initiative for the teachers. It is collaborating with the Innovation Cell of the Education Ministry and AICTE. The board has announced a programme called Innovation Ambassador – Online Teaching Programme.
The Board will train around 50 thousand teachers from the affiliated schools as Innovation Ambassadors. Four to five teachers from CBSE schools will be nominated for this programme.

DATE OF LAUNCHING INNOVATION AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME
The board would teach teachers about four modules that include product/prototype development, design thinking and innovation, intellectual property rights, and idea generation, and ideal hand-holding.
It will launch the programme on 13th May and start the first batch on 17th May.
HOW CBSE WOULD SELECT TEACHERS IN THIS PROGRAMME?
The board said that it is selecting teachers based on their credentials. Consequently, selected teachers would get all the information about the batch, date, and time of the training via mail.
Teachers i.e. Innovation Ambassadors will create an innovative culture in the schools and for other teachers and students. Moreover, they would support other schools as well and act as evaluators for national-level idea competitions.

LAST DATE TO REGISTER FOR INNOVATION AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME
Moreover, they will also mentor students at various national-level programmes on innovation and other activities. So, schools that want to register in this initiative by CBSE can register by 10th May 2021.
