The class 12 examinations of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will be conducted from 2 February 2021 to 13 February 2021. A few changes have been introduced in the marking scheme as per the board reports. To check the new marking scheme or changes in the marking scheme, candidates who are appearing in the board examinations this year must visit the official website.

As per the revised marking scheme, if a student does not score the passing marks in a compulsory subject in the board exam of 2021 then those marks can be replaced by the marks obtained by the student in the additional subject. This change will enable the students to appear for these exams to obtain good aggregate passing marks.

The compulsory subjects for the BSEB class 12 boards comprise two language papers, i.e. language 1 of either English or Hindi and language 2 of any other language taken other than language 1. Students are advised to prepare for the BSEB 12 board exams as per the syllabus prescribed.

The new exam pattern will also ensure effective study plans and that the students understand topics well. Board has also proposed a reduction in the syllabus by 30 percent in the BSEB 2021 board exams. If the state department approves the reduction in the syllabus then it will be reduced by 30 percent for all Science, Commerce, and Arts stream.

The board exams of BSEB class 12 are conducted in two shifts, from 9:30 am in the first shift to 1:45 pm for the second shift.
