The All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and a group of six oil and gas firms have initiated an online internship Programme for students and faculty members interested in working in the oil and gas industry. According to the board, more than 1 lakh students will be given internship opportunities as a result of this deal.

Dasoff Petroleum, Abu Dhabi, Citax Energy, Dubai, Petroleumsoft, UK, Wesmarty Infotech, Energivo Oil and Gas, and Shay Innovative Solutions are the six firms that have joined forces with AICTE.

The AICTE internship program will inspire and fine-tune the skills of job seekers in the region. AICTE will provide internship opportunities to over 100,000 students through this collaboration initiative, training them to work in the national and foreign oil and gas industries, Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of the AICTE, said.

The internship program was set up in the presence of AICTE Chairman Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe, Vice-Chairman Prof MP Poonia, Member Secretary Prof Rajive Kumar, Chief Coordinating Officer Chandrasekhar Buddha, Dasoffshore CEO Bhagwan Gawai, Petroleumsoft CEO Rameshwar M Paswan, Shay Creative Technologies CEO Dr. Rahul Hingole, and Energivo Oil and Gas CEO N. Rajesh Kumar.

According to AICTE Vice Chairman Prof MP Poonia, the oil and gas industry is dynamic, and there are various opportunities for engineering students in this field. This program would train students to take advantage of work openings by supplying them with information and experience through the internship program.

Prof Rajive Kumar said this internship is a fantastic way to interact with industry professionals, learn, and develop for students in their career.

HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION TO REPLACE UGC AND AICTE IN 2021

The online internship program will provide students with the necessary skills and experience, which will eventually influence their potential success, Mr. Chandrasekhar said.
Mr. Gawai, CEO of Dassoffshore Petroleum Services, said that this internship has been designed in response to industry demands. The learning material offered in this curriculum will assist students in efficiently honing their talents, allowing them to succeed confidently in a dynamic job market.

Enrolled applicants in this internship program will have access to a library of learning materials funded by a group of six oil and gas firms.
“This opportunity will provide students with the requisite expertise and skills to align their profile with industry needs,” said Mr. Paswans, CEO of Petroleumsoft.
