Departments have announced their dates for entrance exams and direct admission in the Ph.D. program in academic session 2020-21 at Delhi University. The process of admission for MPhil and Ph.D. researchers in 16 faculty and 86 academic departments of DU has started.
The process of pursuing an MPhil Ph.D. will be from 15 December to 8 February 2021. At the same time, the departments of Ph.D. directly from 14 December to 25 January 2021. Interviews in the MPhil and Ph.D. schedules issued by DU can be both online and offline. Professor Suman, chairman of the Forum of Academics for Social Justice (University of Delhi) and a former member of the Academic Council of DU, states that Both options are open to candidates seeking admission in MPhil and Ph.D. Students who have done NET and JRF can give a direct interview.
Students who have passed the entrance exam through National Testing Agency will be admitted through interviews.
Students have both choices. Students of UGC NET and JRF etc. are exempted from this. The departments where MPhil, Ph.D. are conducted will be interviewed by 15 January 2021. This will be followed by a meeting of the Department Research Committee on 22 January 2021.
Researchers’ results will be announced on 4 February 2021, after being named at the Board of Research Studies meeting.
Finally, students will be given time from 4 February to 8 February for registration and depositing fees. Professor Suman said the departments which offer only Ph.D. programs have also announced their dates.
The Ph.D. process will be done by 25 January 2021 in the departments conducting Ph.D. interviews will be held in these departments by 5 January 2021.
DU ADMISSION: FMS DELHI ADMISSION PROCESS FOR MBA PROGRAM BEGINS
With this, the meeting of the Department of Research Committee will be held on 8 January 2021. The students who have passed the interview, their names will go to the Board of Research Studies on 19 January 2021.
The results of those researchers will be declared on 21 January 2021. Researchers whose names have been included in the Ph.D. list can submit their fees from 21 January to 25 January 2021.
