MILITARY NURSING SERVICES

On Tuesday, Capital CM Kejriwal directed the health officials to ensure the implementation of the health information management system (HIMS) and also to introduce e-health cards in all government hospitals of the capital. It is directed to be done by next August.

HIMS will aim to provide effective healthcare services through technologically empowered processes to the Delhiites. After chairing a high-level meeting for reviewing the system, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the e-health card will make things more convenient for the Delhiites at stable government hospitals.

He said that it is their duty to ensure that the people of Delhi face no inconvenience. They claim this management system to be able to provide all healthcare facilities to the people of Delhi. A card will be issued to every resident visiting a hospital so that they can avail the benefits of government healthcare services. This card needs to be integrated with HIMS after being issued, CM added.

Cloud-based health management system links all the components of the healthcare delivery process including:

  • patient care services
  • hospital administration
  • budgeting and planning
  • supply chain management
  • backend services

This methodology will help and enable people to get information on one platform only. This facility might even be extended to private hospitals later.
