These include Aligarh Muslim University, Delhi University, Jammu Central University, Rashtriya Sanskrit University, Visva Bharati University, and Maulana Azad National Urdu University. Presently the quantity of these colleges has expanded to 150.

Under the system of FYUP, UGC has given understudies the choice to seek a three-year college degree as well as a four-year Praises degree, following the arrangements of the Public Schooling Strategy (NEP).
