Delhi University is likely to declare the results within a week of 13,000 BA (PROG) candidates, who took their open book exams a few months back.
D.S. Rawat Dean of Examinations stated that there was some delay in the evaluation of the papers due to issues with the OBE (open book exams) portal. In some instances, students emailed reply scripts that were in a drive and found it difficult to access those files. There has been some delay in resolving the issues and fixing the papers. However, only four to five UG courses are left to announce the results, of which the BA (PROG) is the largest.
For the students who need the results for admissions to other institutes, Delhi University officials will provide provisional certificates.
He said many candidates have approached the examination branch expressing that they want their mark sheets either for other universities or applying to jobs. They are fast-tracking the procedure for them and in some representatives, examiners have been inquired to evaluate the respective papers as soon as possible after checking the roll numbers.
He further added that a total of 450 such provisional mark sheets have been issued for both PG and UG students.
