National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the date sheet of NEET 2022 soon. Consequently, medical students would be able to check and access it on the official website, ntaneet.nic.in.

Students can go through the examination pattern of last year. They can check everything ranging from the mode of examination to the structure of the question paper.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an entrance exam conducted from medical and allied programmes in India. NTA conducts this test in pen and paper mode at different examination centers.

NEET EXAMINATION PATTERN

According to last year’s examination pattern, NEET included 180 multiple-choice questions. The subjects included were Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. All the subjects would have different sections in two parts, A and B. Students will get 35 questions in part A and it is compulsory to attempt. Meanwhile, Part B will include 15 questions and 10 questions are compulsory to attempt from that section.

MARKING SCHEME OF NEET

Talking about the Marking scheme of NEET, students will get four marks for every correct answer and lose 1 mark for every wrong answer. There would be no negative marking if answers are not attempted.

NEET 2021 APPLICATION PROCESS WAS CONDUCTED IN TWO PARTS

In 2021, the National Testing Agency divided the application process into two parts. Students submitted a set of information in the first part before the exam. Moreover, they submitted the remaining information in the second part which was after the exam but before the results.

VALIDATION OF NEET

Students can appear for the NEET exam to get admission into B. Sc Nursing and Life Science courses as well. However, the entrance exam is valid for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and veterinary courses.
