New Delhi: There is hope for campus placement of students of DU-affiliated Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). Ncweb’s Aurbindo College Center has established a placement cell. Professor’s in the placement cell Hansraj Suman, Dr. Ramesh Kumari, Dr. Aditi, and Ravidra Singh have been elected officials.
On Saturday’s and Sunday’s NCWEB classes are held at these centers. Most of the girls concentrating on the NCWEB board originates from helpless family backgrounds. Among them, a few students manage to study by running tuition or doing some low maintenance work.
Center in charge Prof. Hansraj Suman said that they started a campaign to employ the girl students. A placement cell has been formed in this series. They will contact the companies before the end of the fifth and sixth semesters and set up an employment fair for the students, in which employment will be arranged according to the interest of the students. Aurbindo College is the first center of NCWeb where a placement cell has been formed.
