The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the “Learning from Practitioners program. It will allow teachers to undertake action research. Under this great initiative, CBSE-affiliated school teachers can apply to share their work.

The board aims to select as well as support the best creations by providing grants and support with a network of mentorship.

CBSE anticipates the applicants to have researched about challenges of education practice.

All the Chosen candidates will receive a grant of Rs 25,000 in three installments in one year for documenting evidence as well as scaling the program.

They will also get mentorship from a group of practitioners. There will be two rounds in the selection process, after which, they will choose 25 finalists.

The Candidates should meet the following criteria to be capable. To apply for the CBSE learning from practitioners program.

All the faculty, as well as staff of CBSE-affiliated schools, can apply. A group of an utmost of four people can also apply.

Under learning from practitioners, Proposals that address the subject level, grade-learning stage.

Moreover, the school and the governance level, community, as well as teacher training are eligible to be evaluated for the program.

The recommendations which align with the National Education Policy (NEP) of the year 2020 will get more preference.

The applicant should apply for their project, they cannot be assigned by someone else for the grant.
