NTA (National testing Agency) declared the result for JEE Main 2021 March cycle, late eve on Wednesday. Reportedly, as per the NTA officials,13 students have scored a perfect score of 100. This was the march edition of the JEE- Mains (engineering entrance exam) which is being conducted in four cycles.
JEE Main 2021 March was held on 16 March to 18 March 2021. A total count of 6,19,368 candidates had registered for JEE Main 2021 March cycle.
Following is the list of 13 candidates who scored a perfect 100 in JEE Main exam:
- Siddharth Kalra from Delhi
- Kavya Chopra from Delhi
- Bannuru Rohit Kumar Reddy from Telangana
- Madur Adarsh Reddy from Telangana
- Josyula Venkata Aditya from Telangana
- Bratin Mondal from West Bengal
- Kumar Satyadarshi from Bihar
- Mridul Agarwal from Rajasthan
- Zenith Malhotra from Rajasthan
- Ashwin Abraham from Tamil Nadu
- Atharva Abjhijit Tambat from Maharashtra
- Bakshi Gargi Makarand from Maharashtra
As per the NTA officials, these scores announced by NTA are normalized scores across multi-session papers. They are based on the relative performance of those candidates who have appeared for the examination in 1 session.
Officials further informed that these scores are not the same as percentage marks obtained instead they are marks obtained which are converted into a scale for each session of the examinee which ranges from 0 to 100.
The exam was conducted in 334 cities in 792 centers and also 12 cities outside India which included Baharain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kualalumpur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, and Kuwait.
For the first time, at the request of the candidates, Kargil, Kuala Lumpur, and Lagos were added to the list of exam centers.
JEE Main exam was conducted in 13 languages.
The ranks of the candidates will be released after the Feb, March, April, and May Session of JEE(Main)-2021 Exam, taking the best of the four NTA scores into the consideration as per the policy.
