Department of Hydrology of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Roorkee) is inviting applications for its Junior research fellowship 2021. All the aspiring candidates must possess an ME/MTech degree in Agricultural Engineering (Soil Water/Irrigation and Drainage)/Water Resource Management/ Civil Engineering to be eligible for applying under this fellowship. “Pine-Oak Ecosystem: Interactions with Water-Climate-Chemistry” will be a project on which selected candidates will work.
All those fellows selected for this IIT ROORKEE program will be awarded a monthly stipend of Rs 31000. House rent allowance will also be given alongwith the stipend as per the rules of the University.

Following is the list of documents that are to be submitted:
- application with your detailed CV which also includes degree/certificates obtained (arranged in descending order of chronology),
- research experience involving fieldwork in ecohydrology,
- attested copies of prior publications in the last 5 years (if any available),
- attested copies of degree/certificate and experience certificate
All those candidates who will be selected will get an opportunity for Ph.D. admission. Candidates can submit their application latest by 18 May 2021, by 5: pm strictly. This is the last date and time for the application. The interview will be conducted in an online mode via WebEx/Zoom.
